Summer Salads at the Mount Street Deli
Tart London, John Gregory Smith, Nina Parker and Alexandra Dudley create salads our Summer Menu
Throughout July and August, Nina Parker, Alexandra Dudley, Tart London and John Gregory Smith will bring their respective styles to the deli’s menu, taking over the salad section for two weeks each.
Nina Parker - Monday, 2 July - Friday, 13 July
The London based chef and cookbook writer's salads will be a traditional Caprese Salad, with mozzarella, tomato and sweet basil, seasoned with salt and olive oil, and a fruity and fresh fennel, pear & pomegranate salad that’s ideal for those hot summer days.
Alexandra Dudley - Monday, 16 July, until Friday, 27 July
The artist, author and entrepreneur has a relaxed and approachable style of cooking which is reflected in her selection of dishes. Alexandra has selected a new potato, roasted radish, baked salmon and radish top cashew pesto salad, to sit alongside a spice roast beetroot and carrot salad with nigella seeds and feta, served on zesty green rice.
Tart London - Monday, 6 August, until Friday, 17 August
Next up are the lovely Lucy and Jemima of fashion industry favorites Tart London. The ES Magazine columnists Lucy and Jemima’s salads will include a green spiced yoghurt chicken salad and a saffron peppers and tomato salad.
John Gregory-Smith - Monday, 20 August, until Friday, 31 August,
Food and travel journalist John travels all over the world in search of the best recipes and latest food trends, and his two salads will be inspired by his travels. John’s dishes are a Moroccan chicken and preserved lemon salad, and a beetroot beluga lentil and tarragon salad.
Summer Salads at The Mount Street Deli will kick off on Monday, 2 July, salads are available to eat in or take away from the deli, with prices ranging from £5 for a small vegetable salad to £12.95 for a large chicken or fish salad.
