Niamh Shields - adventures in food blogging

The last few years have been quite an adventure for Niamh Shields. An Irish ex-pat living in London with a passion for food and travel, Niamh began a blog called Eat Like A Girl about the places she  visited, the food she ate and the recipes she cooked. 

Her integrity and passion were infectious and she quickly began being attracting quite a following. In 2010 she was Highly Commended in the Observer Food Monthly awards and then last year was named Best Food Blogger in the same competition. In 2011she also published her first book - Comfort and Spice. Eat Like A Girl

Niamh will be at The Mount Street Deli this month talking about this journey from passionate foodie to leading figure on the London food scene. Unmissable for anyone interested in the contemporary food world.
